Finally We Can Draw On The Walls And Not Get Told Off

I just spotted this Jon Burgerman wallpaper at Design You Trust and fell in love. Designed to be a colouring book on your wall, you could leave it plain, but what’s going to be much more fun is spending your evening colouring in segments!

Available to buy in 10 metre rolls for £40 at ninteenseventythree

Light Up Your Desk In Style With The Floodlamp

Light Up Your Desk In Style With The Floodlamp

If you’re in need of some more light on your desk you should consider the new Floodlamp.

This mini floodlight stands 50cm high and is styled in a gorgeously shiny aluminium, with six bulbs beaming out light that can be easily be directed by swivelling the top part.

It’s great for lighting up that proposal you’re still writing into the night, but even better for lighting up a bit of football.

Available for £69.85 at Firebox

Worn Again Virgin Lydia Bag

Worn Again Virgin Lydia Bag

If you’ve been on a Virgin Atlantic flight then the Lydia bag from Worn Again might look familiar, because it’s styled out of disused Virgin Atlantic seat covers.

Whilst it’s materials are more usual from most bags, the Lydia bag does it’s job very well offering you two compartments, a zipper pocket and even a mobile phone holder.

This bag, like all the All Worn Again bags at the Worn Again site, is made from Portugal and features a list of ingredients inside. The Lydia, alongside the Virgin Atlantic seat covers also uses seat belts, bicycle inner tubes and factory scrap materials.

Available at Worn Again.

Samsung Pixon Campaign Shows Marketers How It Should Be Done

With less and less of us paying attention to television adverts, companies are having to be more and more innovative in getting our attention and one company that is definitely doing that right now is Samsung.

Samsung are not promoting their Samsung Pixon as everyone else would, by popping up a few billboards you and me would ignore.

They’re going interactive, and they’ve got top street photographer, Nick Turpin to help them..

What’s the connection between a street photographer and the Samsung Pixon?

Well that would be that the Samsung Pixon comes with a stunning 8 megapixel camera. Yes 8 megapixels!

(I’m feeling jealous and envious of Mr Turpin already…)

So what exactly is Nick and the Samsung Pixon going to be getting up to?

Well that’s really down to you.

Because each day, using the Samsung Pixon’s camera and geo-tagging capabilities, Nick will take a photo and upload it to The Photographic Adventures Of Nick Turpin site.

Where he goes next is dependent on which part of the photo gets the most clicks..

Today’s winner was a bottom (how childish are we!!), tomorrow who knows - it all depends on where you click..

Now that’s a very clever way to show off the benefits of a phone..

You can find out more by checking out the The Photographic Adventures Of Nick Turpin website or following the man himself on Twitter.

Coosh Earphones : The Earphones That Stay Put (No Really They Do!)

Yesterday the nice man from UPS brought me a brown box which gave me a bit of a shock when I opened it and discovered a big ear looking up at me.

On closer inspection I discovered it wasn’t actually a real ear (which was good because the flat is untidy and I didn’t want to have to invite the police into the mess) but a plastic one with a earphone in the ear.

Now I knew what it was. It was the Coosh “Never Fall Off” Earphones that I had eagerly accepted an invitation to try out.

Well now it’s the next morning and I’m sitting here typing away and listening to music with my Coosh earphones on and I can assure you they definitely stay on even when I do head banging movements or manically shake my head from side to to side (I’m so glad no one can see me doing this…).

I suppose sitting down however isn’t much of a test. Something like break dancing would give us a better clue of if they work.

Now obviously I’d do that but I’ve hurt my umm…. my…. my finger, yes that’s it my finger so I’m going to leave it up to the talented Massive Monkees (that’s them below) to show you (I obviously taught them all they know…)

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

So it’s obvious they live up to the staying on claim but how do they feel?

Well I don’t know about you but every time I’ve put on a pair of earphones that hook on your ears they’ve only done one thing really well - hurt. The amazing thing is these Coosh earphones don’t (and I promise you I’m not saying that because I got these free) -these earphones are so comfortable it feels like you’re not wearing any!

So all in all, both I and the Massive Monkees are incredibly impressed that these Coosh earphones do actually do exactly what they say and this is one pair of earphones that I would recommend to you whether you’re a break dancer, runner or computer geek because they’re cool, very cool indeed.

The only thing these Coosh earphones can’t do is stop me is listening to shockingly uncool music like the El Divo/ Celine Dion track I’m enjoying at the moment….

You can find out more about the amazing Coosh earphones and watch the Massive Monkees documentary over at the Coosh website.
