When I was younger someone bought me a record that was personalised with my own name and I thought it was the most amazing thing in the whole world.

(I’m not too sure the rest of my family did as I played it constantly…)

Well now’s the chance for today’s modern family to go through that same torture / delight because you can now buy personalised music cds featuring your child’s name.

It’s called the Silver Balloon CD and is avalable from Getting Personal and features not only songs but also a bedtime story by newsreader Jon Snow but are they any good?

Well I’ve not heard one myself but would love to know if any of you have. I do know though that The Observer, Daily Mail and BBC absolutely loved it though.
