Pleo Robot Dinosaur


You all know that I’m totally and utterly in love with Zeno but there’s a robot that comes a close second and that’s Pleo.

Pleo is a robot dinosaur is that begins life as a newly hatched Camarasaurus and will develop his own unique personality as you interact with him.

Pleo isn’t just intuitive, he’s also very clever and is able to move and explore his environment all by himself.

What you will find most endearing about Pleo is his movements. Pleo doesn’t just walk about. He will also stamp his foot, sniff around him and cower in fear if he gets scared.

The great thing is that there’s no clearing up needed to be done after Pleo, all you will need to do is keep an eye on when he needs feeding (otherwise known as charging) and get him plugged in.

    I managed to get Pleo on the cheap at a Sharper Image closing down sale. He is cool, I can make him sing but haven’t got him to run yet.

    Al, you’ve just made me very jealous. I didn’t even know you could get him to sing, now I want him even more!! I’d love to know if you can get him to run!

    To get him to sing you need to download an update (it seems odd having to update the software in a pet) and then stroke his chin (a lot). I think mine cost £150 but it is a legitimate business expense :)

    That’s a good price for young Pleo! Now all I’ve got to do is try and work out how I can claim mine as a business expense too…
