I’ll admit it straight off.

I don’t think about carpets that often.

(Well apart from when I look at ours and it’s stopped looking cream and looks well a bit grey. But enough about my housekeepings skills)

So I hadn’t ever really thought about all the carpet samples in the world and what happens to them.

It’s good everyone isn’t like me because other Ample Samples would never exist.

Ample Samples is a yearly competition where designers are given the brief of transforming old carpet samples into something amazing and let me tell you they do!

The winner this year was a Rocking Horse Stool which showed how the simplest of idea can create something truly gorgeous.
