When the Flip video camera was wowing celebrities and internet entrepreneurs across the USA I swore that when it hit the British shores it would be the only video camera that I would buy.

The Flip video camera has now hit the shores and I still really wanted it (you can tell by my gushing post..).

But one thing put me off. The price.

The Flip camera came in at just under £100, at least £40 more than the American version.

So I didn’t get one. I couldn’t justify £100 for something I just wanted to play around.

But now things have changed and my brand devotion has melted away.

I have a new love.

The Busbi Digital Video Camera.

The Busbi Digital Video Camera works on the same push button basis as the Flip video camera and comes with 1GB card (enough for 1 hour), though you can upgrade to 2GB (which is better than the standard Flip video camera).

The only real difference is there is no flick out USB stick. You have to plug it in with a wire.

Never mind. I’d probably have snapped it off anyway…

Anyone else want to join me in in purchasing a Busbi Digital Video Camera?
